I use to think I 'hated' Man United the most - but Chelsea INSTANTLY stole that position - are u surprised ?

Never before have I absolutely felt genuine unadulterated hate, digust and annoyance at the sight of a club winning a title other than Chelsea.

Their 2004/05 and 2005/06 title wins to me mean't sod all for the following reasons, i want you Chelsea fans out there to READ v.careful what I type because after your first title in god knows how many light years....I mean you even surprised the Mancs with your ranting and cocky arrogance thinking you'd conquered the world. You had your heads so far up your own a55es that you still couldn't smell your own S**t.

Like any 'real big club' , what matters is history.

Chelsea were just a proud club that made up the numbers, at best a cup contention side. Nothing more.

Without a billionaire Russian you'd have won squat. Also, you could only dream of having 10% of the 'passion and love' our fans have for our club.

The problem is theres more to it than that, I don't know what it is - but even though Man United won the titles in 2007 and 2008 and stood just 1 behind our record of '18' , I didn't feel all that bothered about it.

They know VERY well we'll always be breathing down their necks, always and you can only keep a Lion caged and away from his meat for so long...

United know we were, and always will be their #1 arch rivals, its been that way since day 1.

Ask ANY man united fan what fixture they immediately look for in the calender, its the Man United vs Liverpool / Liverpool vs Man United' ones. And likewise, its the one fixture we TRULY look for in our own season fixture list, it means the world for either club to get one over the other, its all northen bragging rights - no sorry, its all 'best in england bragging rights'.

So there you have it - Chelsea is the club I hate the most, its an unhealthy hatred and I actualy loved it when you won shag S**t last year haha. 'awight geezer ? ' lol

Liverpool will be lucky to finish 3rd this season. They were so poor against Boro they deserved nothing! This season they will again be trounced by Chelsea and United, and shown why they cannot compete in the Premier League.

Yes, I'm sure United fans look foward to the United-Liverpool derby, just so they can remind you that they are a step above. Last north east derby you guys didn't compete the whole match! 3-0....

I don't care much for the Chelsea v Utd games (although obviously i want to win), the LFC v United ones have the most excitement although if you beat us last season i am not sure if you still could've called yourself the best in England. lol

I like to think that even though we have a bitter rivalry that we can have a mutual respect for what each club has achieved. Like you said, you can only keep a lion caged for so long. Its the same with any club, one day they may be enjoying the success and the next year it may all go away...ask Arsene Wenger. I think being fans of clubs who have earnt their wealth and their fanbase through their success it is quite irritating for a club to just buy any player they want, yes Man Utd have bought big before but our money came from our success.
