I used Vanish to get a red wine stain out of a white shirt and now there is a BIG yellow stain...?

I told my mate i'd get it out, and that Vanish was great... So I washed it after vanish and it didn't work. It's his favourite shirt, so I sprayed it every hour with vanish for most of the day and then washed it again. Now there is a MASSIVE yellow stain... what the h**l do I do?!

It's 100% cotton.

Go to the medicine cabinet & get that stuff you hate to put on a cut. . . hydrogen peroxide.  Dab it on with a cotton ball and let it set a couple of minutes, then wash it again.  It may take a couple of tries, but it is worth it.

You can try peroxide to bleach out the yellow stain--- might take several tries but will work and not damage the fabric.

At this point, I think you should just buy him a new shirt.

I always use bio tex that i recommend it gets loads of stains out  eg beetroot, egg,urine, tomato sauce, puke, oil, make up etc etc.

Does Vanish contain bleach? If yes, it's not a stain.You removed the color.
