I used a DVD-RW and formatted it to VR instead of Video and now I can't get my film on the computer?

how do I get the video to show up on my computer without reformatting the DVD-RW causing it to erase all my video??

You made a DVD out of it.  Put it in a dvd player and watch it on your tv.

If you want to reuse the DVD-RW, copy it to a DVD-R then format your DVD-RW.

On your computer either Windows media player, Quicktime or Real player will play a dvd on your computer
