  1. Let me get this right.  The property originally belonged to your friend.  In order for your friend not to lose the property, you bought it from him using your credit with the understanding that he would continue to make payment on it.  If your question is simply, 'can i sell the property', my answer to you is, whose name is on the title.  However, this brings up a bigger problem lurking in the background.  I think potentially there maybe an issue of fraud if your friend was in bankruptcy or had 'sold' the property to you at less than fair market value to get around his creditors....  Just a thought.

  2. depends on who the ownership papers name it is in, also the state that you live in I owuld check in to property laws in your state

i would say yes you can sell in the peperwork is in your name and you have proop you paid for it but I would check laws first. Good luck

  3. I would not give him ownership of the property.  If you friend has ownership you need to get him off the property or make yourself a coowner, you can do this with a quick claim deed at the court house.  Make sure you have owner ship.  A title company could do this for about $150.00

  4. if its just in your name you wont have any probs if its joint then you need both to agree and sign docs

  5. If the deed is in your name no problem, if it is joint, you will need his signature too.
