I think I've got a little problem. I used the nick name my parents gave me (let's use Jack as the name) during my elementary-middle school years. My real name is (as an example) Ching Chong Ching. I used Jack as my name a lot, even though Ching Chong Ching was my real name, in documents such as community service papers, school papers, etc. Will this serve a problem in the future?

  1. No, just show your birth certificate with your real name to colleges and things, and also a social security card and it wont matter.

  2. No, just make sure you give police officers your nickname so you can get away with stuff.

  3. No, as long as when situations occur that require your real name (taking the SAT, for example), you use it.

  4. i hope not cause im in da same situation as u r

  5. School Papers, Transcripts should indicate your real name, cause you have to follow what's on your birth certificate.

  6. u could change ur name to jack from ching chong ching whichever u like best, middle school is not a big deal... if u write ur name ching chong ching then brackets (jack) from now there will be no problems in the future

  7. Maybe. You probably need to use your real name, It would just be easier, as long as its not really weird like Ching Chong Ching. You have to decide what matters more.
