I used my tom tom

Question

I used my tom tom to direct me to an address and when i got there turned the engine off the screen is black with to red hands and tom tom at the bottom when i press the on or off button nothing works when you put the tom tom to your ear it sounds like there is power running through it but its like its crashed!?? Help
