I used rustic chestnut laminate flooring from b&q. I have a few wide gaps around the door what can i do help?

The gaps are mainly around the doors in addition I have also noticed a scratch what can I do to repair it .Will be thankful for any advice

  1. If you are at this stage all that is left is caulk. Try to match the color as closely as possible and you will be surprised at the result.


  2. Yep I would agree with Ron G,s answer. The gap filler comes in various colors as for the scratch you can get a color stick ( that you melt & drip on the scratch ) or you can get a small tube of paste again in various colors. You can obtain them from B&Q,Screwfix,Homebase etc

  3. Depending how wide the gaps are your edging strips might cover the gaps...

    We have just done our lounge and diner and the walls taper as the house is over 105 yrs old..As a result we are having to use a flat 1/4 deep strip, 2 ins wide to cover all the gaps, and having to shave the door also..

    Good luck with whatever option you choose..
