I used sandstone on my patio and it seems to be constantly eroding. How can I stop that? Will sealing it help?

  1. If it protected from sun and rain I would polyurethane it. with several coats.That's about all you can do. Its about the same as Spanish tile  its sealed with urethane. Also runners would help.


  2. thats pretty much the nature of sandstone and i dont think sealing it will help...sandstone is not a good choice for much more than foundations...
