I used tampons for the first time and my period only lasted 3 days instead of the usual 6?

Do tampons make your period shorter because it doesn't take as long for the blood to come out or was it just a coincidence that it only lasted 3 days?

Probably just a coincidence. I've never had a shorter period because of using tampons.

Just a coincedence, tampons don't affect it... it's just an easier and cleaner way of abosrbing your menstrual flow.

Also... it may not of stopped. Before when Ithought mine had stopped it came back heavy the next day... at school too! And I had no pads or anything on me.

Heya,

I would say this is a simple coincidence. May i suggest if your worried have a word with your mom or trusted female realtive in order for your mind to be put to rest. But as far as i know tampons dont make your period shorter, i think this is purely coincidence. No worries

Its probably just a coincidence. Dont worry about it. Its okay and tampons dont cause youy to have shorter periods. Good luck in the future.
