If I dye it again the same color, will it come out lighter? Also, my roots came out lighter(which I didn't think was going to happen) then the rest of my hair. And if I do dye it again, should I dye the roots last? Btw I'm a natural dirty blonde who dyed it medium brown.

  1. noooo don't my friend died her hair bleach blonde 3 times all strawberry and then brown (light) it went green off to the salon

  2. If you do it again, consult a professional.  They can make your hair color picture perfect.

  3. oh! dont dye your hair too recently after dying it one color. my friend did that, and her hair got so fried and damaged!

  4. yes of course you can

    good luck

  5. different products have different levels of lift.I dont know how much deposit that product has so I cant tell you to go lighter.I do know that if you use a lighter and you want more lift and its like a really light blondie shade you can do it again and push through the red and orange shade and go lighter. So if you lighten it again it should be alot lighter. The roots are next to your scalp wich is what they call a heat zone .The heat will make it lighter than the rest so you could do the roots last.you should do a reconstructor packet when your done too.I would get a lighter lift type of product one that appears lighter than the one you used

  6. same thing happened to me a couple months ago. i dyed it a second time, & it just lightened it a bit more. the best thing to do is wait a few weeks & then try again, or if you don't like the color it is right now, dye it a darker color.

  7. Yes, you can dye it again, but it is going to start showing some damage if you continue dying it.  If you are trying to get rid of the reddish color, you could use a light ash blonde.  The reason the roots came out lighter is because of the heat next to your head and probably they had not been dyed brown.  If I knew the condition of your hair, I could tell you with more certainty whether to do the roots last.  The roots are probably less damaged, but since they already came out lighter, you may want to do them last.
