I used the wrong power source on my spy cam and now it wont work. Is it fried ???

i used a power source that was 9 volts instead of 8 like the stock one that it came with, after looking at the wrong power supply i also noticed that it had a higher amperage output as well is it fried?

It should not have fried unless your polarity was reversed. The current output of the source won't matter to a large degree, as the target (your camera) will only draw what it needs. There should be a voltage regulator in there that clamps the input voltage and limits the maximum input current. So you should be okay. But, not all designs take into account a reversed polarity condition. So that may have cooked you.
