I am trying to remember the name of the guy who used to hang out in Christchurch Square during lunch time and lecture and raise a little h**l, he was a seriously smart guy and no matter what subject he got started on if you threw him a curveball, as in an odd question, either on the subject he was on or something new he could argue rings around you. I want to say he was nick-named the proffesor but i am almost sure that was not it, little help please. By the way, N.Z. is one of the greatest places i have ever been, Beeyouteeful country, same goes for the ladies. I hope to visit again someday.

  1. He is and will always be 'The Wizard'.  Dressed in a Clerical Gown and  black Hat, beard ... could have walked right out of a Harry Potter book.  Wonderful guy.

He's retired, but i'm sure he's still stirring up merry h**l where he's living now.  The Square now has a market, with lots of tourist items.  Unfortunately no Farmer's Market in the summer time ... sighs!

You're welcome back any time.  I have a Deep Freeze 'medal' so we can see who will buy the first drink lol.  Btw USA is the greatest place I've ever visited - and tonnes more to explore.

  2. He is called The Wizard.

Come to think of it I haven't heard much about him for sometime now.
