  1. If you worked out very hard recently, your "new muscles" could be preventing you from doing "regular" swing you were used to doing.

Just spend more time practicing and play some more real game, you should be fine.

Also don't forget to talk to your setter, maybe you both need some adjustment.

  2. well you know what!! practice makes perfect! of course before you are a good hitter well, if you stop playing definitely the stamina and your muscles will not work. the best thing to do is.. even you are a good hitter practice and practice and practice.Practice makes you perfect but also practice makes you stronger.

  3. It could be the growth of those new muscles.

  4. Try using the three step approach and go down really low in order to get some height to your jump and then pull back your hand and snap your wrist. This will make sure that the ball goes downward and it doesn't go deep. Try strengthening your arm muscles by weight training in order to get more strength to your hit. What changes have you noticed in your hit from before? Were you in better shape when you were hitting better, or was it just the technique? Ok if you're a left hitter or an outside hitter then try starting from pretty far back (on the 10 foot line) and make your approach from there. The more powerful your 3 steps are (usually left right left if you're right handed) the more powerful your hit will be. Just keep practicing and you'll figure out how to do it, and it will come naturally.
