I used to jog without feeling tired, now I am frequently and easily tired?

After cross country, which i did quite well in, the subsequent runs have been very tiring for me. I am only able to make it to a mere 1.2km before kneeling over. Why is this tiredness so?

  1. I had this problem too. Ur just tired and u should take one or two day offs. And when you start training again you must train slowly and you will be very good.


  2. It might be from overtraining.

    Fatigued, lack of motivation, it's a sign to back off a little.  Let your body get a break.  This happened to me this season.  I pushed myself to my limit during winter track so in spring I was always worn out so quickly and I really didn't want to go to practice.  I had no motivation to push myself anymore.

    Even if someone else can run the same amount and not be considered "overtrained", it isn't necessarily the same for another.  So yeah, back off a little let your mind and body rest.  You don't want to get injuries.

    Oh and try out google to find out more info for overtraining from running.  It has a lot of info. :]
