  1. try Magic Online. you can sign up at wizards.com

  2. http://www.magic-league.com/ for free online

Or look on wizards of the coast for your local FNM store.

  3. buy a ps3, lot more fun

  4. Try getting into tournaments at the card shops or tell your friends that your thinking of starting a league or some type of competition where u play for a prize or bragging rights. or you could always just tell them that you were way better in magic than they were and if they contest tell them to prove it by playing

  5. Magic Online is expensive.. but if you can afford it, it is pretty fun. You can buy packs of cards on there, trade and get into tournaments.

  6. try friday night magic  i included a link

  7. Like the others have said try your local card/comic book shops to meet new people.  I tend meet others doing everyday events and they see a MTG book, or overhear some random "key word" such as "scourge" or "storm" or "wither", etc.  If nothing else hit up the Magic The Gathering.com message board to see if there are any people in your area.
