I entered a race in San Diego but everything went bad so it discouraged me to run. I just ran a mile the other day to see how much of "it" I still have. My current mile time is a 6:32, I know I need to train a bit more in order to get my old time back. My question is how long would it normally take to get the time back (I know it's different for everyone) I used to run 4 days then rest one day and repeat. I stopped running for about half a year already.
