Proactive is actually very realiable for alot of people. Though I rarely break out, it helps me prevent acne as well. The commericals are pretty annoying but the product does work.

Depending on the type of acne (pustular or inflammatory) many dermatologists use a combination of Diferin gel plus Klaron topical.
