  1. "my license has been suspended(to and from work) (to and from school) for 3 more months..." Does this mean you still can drive to and from work and school, but nowhere else? I thought a full suspension means that you can't do that.

If it's illegal for you to be driving in the first place, don't speed, don't run lights or stop signs, don't turn without signaling, don't pass in the right lane, don't turn on the light inside your car while driving, and don't get in an accident. If your license is suspended, and you get caught driving, you'll get in trouble. Duh. Cops won't pull you over if they have nothing to pull you over for, usually, so don't give them a reason to.

If you are indeed allowed to drive to work and back, then you can bring up that you were returning from a job interview. However, there is still the fact that you were speeding, regardless. Even if it's not a violation of your suspended license, it may still count as violation of your DUI probation (since you weren't driving safely), and if not, you'll still have to pay the ticket.

If you have to go to court, they tell you, I think.

  2. My advice is to take public transportation, ride your bike, walk, or get rides from someone else and quit driving when you don't have a license.

I had my license suspended for 3 weeks back in 2000, and there was no way in the world I'd drive without my license.  Reason being is I wanted to keep my car and get my license back.  My license was suspended because my insurance had lapsed and I got in a fender bender.

My next bit of advice is to quit breaking the law.

    Your car was probably towed.

  3. It depends on the judge, and on how s/he perceives your attitude.  (Unfortunately, violating the law while on suspension isn't automatic revocation - it should be).  You were given a second chance and you blew it.  Can you think of any legitimate reason ("I need my license" isn't one) you should be given a third (and probably a fourth and fifth and ... ) chance?

Driving is a privilege you have to earn - you've proved that you can't obey the law, so you shouldn't be given that privilege.

  4.                 i got caught driving on a suspended license also.in most states there is a mandatory 30 days in jail and you lose your license for anothder year.i got out of the jail but paid $1300 fine.good luck i know how it feels!
