I visited the US and was served Roast Beef with Horseradish, this freaked me out, does it you?

I thought it would be all Hot dogs and Burgers, not proper food.

I always thought all Italians ever ate was pizza and spaghetti & meatballs until I experienced some of the wonders really available.  I think we make assumptions about other cultures based on what we hear, see from afar (media) and never realize there are all kinds of other wonderful things.

You must have had prime rib, not just beef.  I, personally, love horseradish on it.  I visited Ireland and that blood stuff they serve for breakfast "freaked me out!"  Each culture has something that another culture would find strange.  

As we visit other countries, we should accept the differences, otherwise there's no reason to visit them.  If they were exactly like us, why leave home???

Roast Beef is really good, I really don't like Horseradish though but this is normal here, you probably from Germany huh? German food is really good, but they have some stuff that I would never even think about eating.

There are some of us who know how to eat.  You might even find shepherd's pie over here.  And how else would you eat roast beef but with horseradish?

No horseradish goes with roast beef and is served together in alot of better resturants here in the U.S.

What makes you think that americans don't eat proper food ?
