  1. Visit the Kurfurstendam and the Wall Memorial in Berlin.  In Vienna, go to the amusement park and Grinzig.

  2. Frankfurt is really nice town :-) there are many thinks to do as well... I dont agree with mraei ... sorry....

    and dont forget Heidelberg :-)

  3. GO TO AMSTERDAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Bavaria is a gorgeous region that I'm sure you will be visiting during your trip. Take time to see the castles and various old buildings in the area. A specific that you can look up: Schloss Neuschwanstein. Basically, it's an old castle (they fashioned the Cinderella Castle after it...) built by the young King Ludwig who went crazy and never finished it. It is an amazing tour filled with fun facts and the castle itself is built on a high hill viewing the surrounding area. It is in southern Germany, towards the Austrian border.

  5. if you're planning on traveling a lot by train, get a EUROPASS.  my teacher and his groups of students travel to Germany every two years and get them everytime.  they give you great access to Germany and the surrounding area!

  6. 1.You should rent a car and drive the Autobahn!

    2. Try the real Fanta in Germany!

    3. Go and visit the authentics Bakerys all over the country!

    4. Go and get drunk and party! (bars and clubs are open til the early morning! and you are legal with 18, but you can get into it yonger if you have the look!)

    5. Just have Fun!

  7. go to berlin

  8. try some applewine, it taste really weird at first, but after about 5 or 7 glasses, it taste great

  9. Go to Berlin for partying, Vienna for sightseeing, to Bavaria (Munich) to see Schwanenstein castle and drinking lots of beers.

  10. Learn the language....be nice and polite....have a safe and wonderful trip

  11. If you don't speak German, at least learn a few phrases or greetings. If you are asking for directions and just walk up and start speaking English, they may get offended and not help you. But if you at least TRY to speak their language, they greatly appreciate that and are more likely to help you.

It worked for me in Berlin, Dresden, and Salzburg.

Also, if you're a beer drinker, try different beers there. The same ones here are full of preservatives and taste much different.

  12. Go to the Nordrheine area(Dusseldorf and Koln) there are the best

I went to Hamburg which was also nice. Avoid Frankfurt which is only the financial capital.

    Also go to Berlin

  13. In Germany try the local beers and see the castles. Then try some more of the beers.. then mabey some more castles?
