I vollenteered to care for 2 of my daughter's friends during the summer for free. ?

Question

I only asked that they provide lunch and snack (which they rarely did!) They will be away the last week of summer and asked if we would like to use 4 tickets to a baseball game. We said yes! They charged us 70 for the tickets! I think they should have been free. Honestly, what do you think?

so do you want to come live by me... id take care of meals and snacks and give you lots of free tickets??? LOL ok im sorry honey you are being used. I think you need to talk to them. If you guys really are friends they will care about how you feel and try to understand that you are hurt and upset. If not as much as you care about the children tell them you cant watch them any more.

I think that if the people were bartering babysitting for the tickets, they'd have mentioned it.

Obviously, they don't see that you're doing them a favor by watching their kids for nothing, and are users.

that's my opinion.

Do you know what a great mom you are? I hope that someday my daughter will wat her friends to come over and want to spend time at home. Make sure you pat yourself on the back. It would be hard for me to let my child stay friends with them and not talk bad about what horrible parents they are.

I agree with the mom that said can you move by me? I wouldn't use you and your daughter could come play at our house too!

that is so selfish of them. I would be extremely angry . Don't ever volunteer to babysit for them again. They are selfish people who are only thinking about themselves. They should have given you the tickets as well as some money for food as a thank you
