But I am a little short 5'4 by the time I hit 21 will I be tall enough.

I am 15 and there are people who are shorter than me in my high school I have an athletic build. And people the frist thing they see is my long eyelashes. Can I make it as a model?

  1. Models and actors come in all shapes and sizes.  You may not make the runways of Paris, but catalogs and department stores are always looking for pleasant everyday people that make great models.  Nobody says you have to model your entire body either...sometimes photographers photograph just your hands, feet, your smile, hair. Accent  the positve, forget the negative!  Quit thinking about what you don't have and look at all you have going for you...youth is a wonderful thing, don't waste it worrying about physical attributes...I'm sure you are more than just a body!

  2. Height doesn't really matter unless you want to do high fashion. At 15 you could do editorial work, all of the pictures that are in magazines for articles and stuff - that's all editorial. You should probably seek the help of  a beauty consultant that specializes in african american women to clean you up like eyebrows, hair, etc and then try to find representation at a local agency. Just NEVER pay for photos or work or anything, an agency should always be paying for you. The ones who charge you or make you pay for things are not in your best interest.

  3. you can model for places like American Apparel. You have a retro look. Hope to grow taller and let your hair grow a bit
