  1. Try taking some acting lessons. Read books, it'll make you a smarter actor (like Johnny Depp and Leo DiCaprio). Join an agency if you can. Then go to acting school/university. Maybe even try theater acting. Expand your skills and widen your horizons. Best of luck :)

  2. actinginfo.blogspot.com

and take classes do plays and alkways try to get major roles and get an agent but nevre pay some1 to represent you its agains the law! agents are free and only get 10-20% of what you make doin commercials etc

agents are free they dont cost nothing!

if some1 asks you to apy for them to represent yout hent heyre a scam!

and go to talentagents.blogspot.com and click table of contents and click the city near you and call all those agencys asking if they represent girrs/boys your age and if they say yes ask if theres any fees you have to pay and if thye say no but they charge 10-20 % of what you make then theyre a real agency and then ask how you can submit yourself and do that with every agency and every agency that sasy yes write on a peice of paper and how to submit for each one.

and also build up your resume by doin plays and taking acting and singing classes and join your church choir and school choir

    hope i helped

o and for auditions go to actinginfo.blogspot.com

  3. 1) take some classes (find them through internet searches, or word of mouth about programs in your community).

    2) get a headshot taken (8x10 photograph, typically black and white, but not necessarily).

    3) prepare a resume (productions you have been in (School plays, classes etc). of your experience

4)prepare at least 2 contrasting monologues (By contrasting i mean one is classical, one is modern, one is dramatic, and one is humorous).

    5) prepare to get rejected a million times (it happens, and there is nothing you can do about it, but eventually you'll get a part somewhere)

6)Go out and find open casting calls and auditions AND/OR search for an agent who will hook you up with casting calls and auditions and readings. (research was most auditions typically require!!!)

    7) take drama classes throughout school, and then in college audition for theater majors (This is what i am doing. I'm holding off on straight up open casting calls and am going to major in theater).

    a word to the wise:

my drama teacher has always told me that the actors who gets jobs are the people who start small, but are easy and fun to work with. If people like to work with you on one small project, they will remember you for the bigger ones and want you back. DON'T BE A STUCK UP DIVA!!

  4. go to hollywood see if you can become an extra in some movies.or start to go to acting school in ny.

  5. to be an actor you need to be a guy.

    actress is a girl.

you need to have talent, kid. take classes and don't give up.

  6. To get in the industry you have to first preform in school and community plays. You also are better off becoming an extra in a movie first. Check if there are movies being made in your area and if they need extras ( adds in the paper) You have to find a reputable person who Will NOT charge you for things like photos and such. You have to have a head shot, swimsuit shot, formal and casual wear shot. Most places do not accept anyone younger than 18.

  7. type it in google maybe you can find something there i wanna be an actor to when i find out i will tell you

  8. You are so not alone. You would be surprised (or maybe not) at how many young girls say almost the exact same things in the same way. Sometimes I'm torn between telling them to start by getting some training and telling them to just go get a head shot and go to some casting website and start submitting. But reason wins over me and I have to tell you that if you really want to be an actress, you should first put your big rush to do it to the side and slow down. Build your base first.

You might have heard in school when you talked about Abraham Lincoln, that he is the author of a famous quote. He said, "If I had three hours to chop down a tree, I would use the first hour to sharpen the axe."

If you don't sharpen your axe first, there will inevitably be a time when you will have to stop chopping and sharpen it, so you might as well do it now.

What does that mean? Get some acting training. Find a good school and a good teacher to help you learn how to act.

While you are doing that, try and understand what it really means to be an actor, what actors do...really while they are trying to get work, how little money most actors make, why actors struggle to make ends meet and how successful actors are able to continuously get work. You need to learn business skills, networking skills, communication skills and a lot more.

When you decide to become an actress, you are making a decision to run your own business. Now I know you are only 15, but if you can start to grasp these concepts now, WITH THE HELP OF YOUR PARENTS of course, you will position yourself ahead of your competition.

On the other hand if all you ever aspire to is to work background work on Disney Channel or something like that, then don't worry too much about all that stuff I just said and just go and try and get extra work. That's fairly easy to get considering that the majority of all acting work is background work and smaller roles. But you have to know that if you really want to make a big splash as an actress, sooner or later you will need some real experience. Extra work is great in my opinion at the very beginning just to start and see how things are on set and how real actors prepare and perform and to see how set directions are given, but it will not make your career. In fact, some industry professionals discourage it for those who really want to pursue a serious acting career.

The thing is, you can do both if you want. You can go to school, take acting classes and still work as an extra while you are learning the craft.

At any rate, have a look at this page on my website for aspiring actors. It has 21 helpful tips for folks just like you.

You'll find a lot of helpful information there that will make you think about how you can get your acting career started including steps to get started, 17 things you can do fairly soon to start getting work, ways to promote yourself, how to get the money together to fund your career and why acting school is so important.: http://www.actingcareerstartup.com/teen_...

    Good luck!

  9. Most communities have small repetory theatres which sometimes have need of younger actors.

One of answers before me said "Take Classes".  ABSOLUTELY!

Though I am not an actor, I did take a survey class about the theatre.  Here are some things I learned.

    1.  Actors need to prepare three short monologues of already established work for a tryout.  Prepare 1 comedy, 1 drama, and 1 Shakesphere.

    2.  Practice correct diction -- speaking words clearly.  This, in addition to acting, is another useful class to take.

    3.  Don't overact.  This is the biggest mistake most new actors make.

    4.  Take any part you are offered ( except when you take a moral exception to the production.)

    5.  Be careful, the Scientologists and con artists are always trying to take advantage of actors.

    6.  If you get a part, avoid the drug culture that many actors fall into.  Several famous actors and actresses have died very young who did.

    7.  Study, Study and Study.

    Good Luck!
