I wanna be an actress.What are some steps I should take?

Step~1 Practice acting for school or for plays outside of school.

Step~2 Make sure that you parent or guardian is ok with what ever you try....

Step~3 Start Googling up some auditions around or close to you. If you stay in a small town, Be perpared to spend hundreds or thousand of dollars on transportation fees....

Step~4 If you have like a digital camera or camcorder start you like a little 10 or 15 minute comedy or whatever kind of acting show and post it on youtube...

Step~5 Start email and mailing and even calling agenticys and try to get and agent...

Step~6 Once you have and agent your agent will search and contact people and try his or her best to get you an audtion and get you booked....

Step~7 Always give it 10000% there are billions of talented actors and actresses out there just like you so don't give up...

Tips*** Remember Don't pay any agent up front if you do you will be getting ripped off agent only get paid when you get booked and the agent on gets paid 10% of what ever you make....

and Never give up Hope or Dreams NO matter what...

No one ensures you success (only scammers!). First, make yourself clear if you want a JOB or an ACTIVITY that will make you happy. If you want to be "famous" or being professional and then make money, you should differentiate that being notorious is not necesary being talented, or, even worse, will make you compromise many ethical things that you might not like to do or act in plays that you dont really like. Be professional, not famous. Make what will nurture you. Best of luck

I am 13 too!!!! I started acting when I was 10!

The first thing you should do is to take some acting classes around your area. They really work and you can learn a ton of tricks for when you start acting!

Next, you should audition for some local plays! Don't feel bad if you don't make it into the play or you get a small part. It takes time to become a good actress.

Then, If you love just doing theatre plays, you can keep doing those through out the years, but if you want to try and make it to the movies or tv, you then should try to get an agent. Be very carefull because some agents are really bad and take all your money!

Keep on auditioning if you don't make it. Imagine how many times the famous people in movies didn't get a part they really wanted! Remember, it takes time, like many years but be patient.

i'd suggest you to find an institue who teaches the dance/acting, then find an office, where their auditions is being held, then if you are luck enough, u'd be an actress..
