what does the ''form'' mean on a horse

  1. It means how well it performed in it's last few races.

    Numbers mean which position it came in it's last races.

    F means fell I think.

    P means pulled up, ie didn't finish.

    So if it has a lot of 1's, it's won a lot lately, so is in very good form

  3. Form means having a criminal record.I should know Ive lost thousands being conned by "Good Horses"

  4. You'd be better off farting sideways, at least the horses won't be harmed.  Put your betting money in a worthwhile charity box, at least you know you've put your money on a dead cert.

  5. the other answers have covered the question.what i would say is dont pay to much attention to the form book the national is a great leveller.
