I wanna buy DVR for DishTV Please share your experiences with the same device & let me take the wise decision.

I want to buy the digital recorder for DishTV but came to know that "KAON" made recorders are very poor in performance which DishTV provides to their customers. If you are a user of this device kindly share your experiences so that I can take the wise decision to purchase the same.

I do not know what "KAON" made means but I will provide my experiences.

We originally had Direct but cancelled due to the DVR not recording when we had it set.  I had two different DVRs with them and they both did the same thing.  They were also noisy for some reason?

We then switched to Dish and the DVRs have worked well.  They record my programs everyday.  I would also suggest getting a dual tuner so you can record two different things or you can watch one thing and record another.  We have been much happier with the quality of the Dish DVR.
