No UK companies sell basics like T shirts at affordable prices- anyone over there know of stores or websites that won't charge the earth for shipping? Or do I have to get a friendly penpal to post my purchases to me?!

You can order direct from the Montreal Canadiens store at the Bell Centre. However, keep in mind that authentic NHL jerseys and memorabilia is expensive, and then you will have to add shipping & handling costs to that. I could not see the cost for S&H as you have to create a login for their website for secure shopping, but you could check it out if you like.

The other option is to find a local UK store that does offer online products that are affordable. For example, ACA Sports has the official jerseys at sixty pounds, which in Canadian funds is $120, roughly the same as you would pay for a jersey here at the Canadiens boutique.

I think you will have to get someone to mail it to you because I think that every where you order from they will charge you extra for shipping.

what do you mean by "affordable" prices? try getting information on ordering one and see how much it costs. or, just come all the way here and buy some lol.
