I wanna buy a surround sound system for my 360 and PS3?

I need something that doesn't cost more than 700-800 us dollars.. I need it to be perfect for metal gear solid 4 - that's actually why I'm buying it :) - and in the same time I wanna be able to connect both , my 360 .. and my PS3 to it...

cuz you can't call it a next gen game without an HDTV - Bravia:rock: - and sound system

In that price range you could look at amazon.com for both, and perhaps at Vanns and or BPAV for some gear, as well.

Amazon has some Yamaha and Pioneer receivers starting at around $175, and a nice 5.1 set of Polk speakers going for about $250 (list price $600). Do some looking around over there, and you should be able to find some stuff that fits your

requirements and budget.  

There are nice deals going on the Beta line of Infinity speakers, (Vanns, BPAV) as they are being discontinued for newer lines, though a combo from that line might strain your budget. I have a system using four of them and they sound great.

Not a bad price...but I do HATE the cascade failure that occurs on Onkyo amps....you end up having to replace the entire amp with a new one....

I much prefer to upgrade to the DENON AVR 2808CI and avoid cascade failures and having to buy a new amp every 5 years....

But that's out of your limited price range for amp and speakers....

Get the Onkyo, you can always buy a new Denon later....

Go for the Onkyo TX-SR606 AV receiver.  This is the best for the PS3 because it can process True HD audio through an HDMI cable.  No other model at this price can.  Great for watching Blu Ray movies also.

I'd then put this together with some speakers speakers like the Tannoy FX and you can't go far wrong.
