I wanna change my old mobile number from messenger so how can i add new one for the mobile service of yahoo?

actually, i want to continue the yahoo mobile service in which one can send an offline messenges and u can get it on ur mobile so the problem is that how can i change my old mobile no from it. to replace a new number of my mobile???

Have you already tried doing it by going to Preferences in Yahoo Messenger from the Messenger menu and then on the General tab : edit Mobile Device....?

1. Sign into Yahoo IM

2. Go up in the corner to click on Messenger menu.

3. Click on Preferences.

4. Click on the General tab.

5. In the bottom box it says: Edit Mobile Device and then to see if your carrier / new number is compatible.

You cannot just change it for messenger

you must have it on your mobile page

2 steps here:

FIRST

add new device and #

then delete old device

go to

click edit by current device

a new page opens

change your phone #

EXAMPLE

My Phone: Motorola RAZR [change] [delete]

Name: My Phone [phone]

Phone Number: 406-555-5555

Wireless Carrier: Alltel

My Phone [phone] (Alltel)

This is your Yahoo! Mail Alerts device.

yahoo ID ()

This is your "Sign In to Yahoo! Messenger" phone.

Add New Device

open messenger

Click the Messenger menu a

>>> select Preferences.

Click the "General" category.

Click the "Edit mobile device" button and enter your Yahoo! ID and password to sign in to Yahoo! Mobile.

Now you are totally done
