  1. Go to connections academy. Its free

  2. The person up there who said homeschooling costs alot and public school is free doesn't know their facts.

Homeschooling doesn't have to cost a lot, and whether you go to public school or not, your parents are paying taxes which goes to the public school, so technically public school isn't free. And in some states there are "free" public schools online that you can do.

    For Florida there is www.flvs.net

You just have to research it and figure out what you really want.

Honestly, from my point of view, online school takes more work than a public school. I'm homeschooled, but all my friends aren't and they've seen what I do, and i've seen what they do, and i have so much more work to do than they do, so you may want to just stick with public school if you're lazy.

  3. If your state has a virtual public school, they are free, or nearly free (typical PS school fees).

Here are two places you can check to see if one of these academies is in your state:

    K12

    http://www.k12.com/getk12/index.html

    Connections Academy:

  4. You don't have to have money to homeschool. There are lots of free resources online - then there is the public library system.

Just do some research! Try to get whatever you want from the library. I don't know what grade you are in, but there are books that tell you what you should learn by the end of that grade.

For example, we got through 1-3rd grade using the Library's  "What your 1st Grader Needs to Know", "What your 2nd Grader Needs to Know", and "What your 3rd Grader Needs to Know".  You can also do a search online and print out what's available there. You can teach yourself using the internet and the public library - with little parental interaction.  And if there is a particual class (say Math) you are struggling with, you can go to public school part time and just take that class.

Check your state laws by looking at the website for your Office of the Superintendent (OSPI) for you state.  If you are in CA, just forget it. You'll need to be affiliated with an umbrella or private school - you'll have to pay fees.

  5. try www.k12.com it is free

  6. Homeschooling can be cheap :)

    Try it

  7. Go back to school sweetie.

Being at home isolates you, and that would be a big mistake.

Plus homeschooling costs alot, and a regular education is free.

  8. Depending which state you are in, many cyber charter schools are free, because they are publicly funded.  Then you could home school for free.

  9. I am in a home school program and it costs pretty close to the same amount as reg school when you think about saving on lunch money and stuff like that. The price isnt that bad. its not on the internet though its all Independant correspondance. the website is www.americanschoolofcorr.com

  10. "I wanna do homeschool cause I hate school"

    What's next?

"I wanna work at home cause I hate work"

"I wanna get out of anything I don't like"

"I wanna learn to spell WANT TO"

Buck up... go to school... stop doing the avoidance thing.

  11. tough it out.

figure out why u 'hate' school

correct the problem , u or it.

get used to doing what u don't like or get used to losing.

school is only temporary THEN u have work and school looks easy then.

  12. Hey I do homeschooling. I don't hate going to school but I don't have time to go to school. Do you have an Associate Degree? if you want an Associate Degree... visit this website, www.pennfoster.edu this is a very good college and very cheap. Each semester costs around $850 and even less. Check it out..
