  1. At your age I highly suggest joining a really good local boxing gym.  Not only will you learn develop good footworkd, and your natural attributes, to include speed and reflexes, it's a great way to stay in shape.  Another great thing about boxing is that you will learn to take a punch and not be timid or nervous about getting hit.  Also once you've been in boxing you can get a really good assesmentment of how well you really like the fighting arts and then go from there as far as developing more skills to improve your fight game ie your ground game, kicking, etc.

  2. It really depends on what type of fighter you want to be. If you want a good stand up game then it would be boxing or kickboxing. Muy Tai is also a very good martial art for powerful striking. If you want to be more of a ground fighter then I would say your best bet is to train in Jiu Jitsu.

  3. i personally take tae kwon do and aikido and i love it.

a lot of people with your build take it. it'd not about your size. its about your speed, agility, and endurance

i definitely recommend it though! it's a ton of fun and a great thing to know!

  4. Marine Corps Martial Arts or Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Those fit your body type and experience.

  5. ur very tall and skinny so kick boxing or muay thai would be great for you

  6. First, find out what kind of league or something is in your area.  If nothing else, join your school's wrestling team.

  7. Ever think about Savate?
