I wanna get a 1080P hdtv, any recomendations?

  1. The best televison I've seen and owned is any Samsung. All new LCD's and plasmas are not exactly durable however. I was guaranteed that my televison would need some type of service within 3 years. I like LCD's but be careful the screens break so easily and no warranty will cover a screen impact. The screen costs 75-80% of the entire price. Your price range will get you nearly any 37-40 samsung tv. The 120 hrtz are considerably more. The choice of 720 or 1080 is up to you. Honestly, many experts cant tell the difference between the two. I went with a 1080 just becuase the price difference at the time was only about 100 bucks. Best Buy usually has pretty good deals. Got my 1080 40" for 1300. Be careful with the screen or your screwed...broke mine last week....barely got hit...Get a insurance policy with an actual insurance company...cheap and it will cover everything. good luck

  3. I just got the new issue of "Home Theater" magazine. They have an article/review of 3 budget, but full 1080p televisions from Costco/big-box stores.  All are sub 1,000 .
