I wanna get a video camera ....................help plz?

Question

I want to get one that I will keep for years.. and I think I will be using alot..

I want one that has can capture great picture in addition to the fantastic recording... and can be save , edit and use on PCs

I don't exactly want u to recommend spasific ones...

but I need to know the main qualities that I should be looking for in videocamera ..

should I choose the ones that record with CD's or tapes or harddisks .. and why .... ?

tell me any thing u know and should be focused on about videocameras .. megapixels.. optical zoom , digital zoom , lens size , weight , shape ...?

I am so novice so .... any tip would be appreciated...

i would suggest to get a sony Hd one as it is the latest model and record many hours on its internal hard disk.

to get best quality you need a 3 ccd cam and most can take snapshots as well i suggest to go to camcorderinfo.com and compare among latest ones
