On the same site, I also found a 2001 Lincoln LS w/140000 km mileage and a 2000 Lincoln LS V8 with 100000 Km mileage..I also found a 1998 BMW 5 series...i guess the mileage may be around 200000 km (it doesn't say though)...i also like the 2003 mazda protege...I know Japanese cars are better than American cars in general...everyone is telling me to don't buy an American car. BTW, this is my first car...I dont wanna spend more than $600/ month on it....aside monthly financing payments. I live in Toronto, Canada if ya'll found some nice ones.

  1. for $4,000

    look for

98 Acura CL, 98 Ford Mustang V6, 98 Honda Accord or Civic, 98 Nissan Frontier or Pathfinder, 98 Subaru Impreza or Legacy, 98 -00 Toyota Corolla or Echo 00

these are all reliable and will last longer than other cars in this price range.

for around $6k an Acura Integra 98-99 is a great car.

  2. Stay away from german cars.  They are incredibly expensive to fix and maintain.

I own 2 cars (2000 Audi A4 with 60Kmiles and 94 Civic with 187K miles).  The Civic is in better condition than the Audi.

I can even do most the the fixes my self on the Civic.  On the Audi, WOW even changing air filter takes over 30 minutes. And parts are just too expensive.

Also don't just shop online.  These old cars really have to be hand inspected for you to know what is good and what is a lemon.

  3. I love my 2000 chevy impala ls personally.

  4. Germany makes better cars than Japan, so look at the TDi VW. they get 50mpg, which is double what a Japanese Gas car gets!. For that money you can get a 3 or 4 year old one and if it has 160,000km on it, then you still have 4 times that in life left in that engine!

This report is from Canada also!

  5. Economical??? Go hybrid.

    Research Toyota Prius!

  6. You might want to check out neweraexotics.com if your looking for a nice luxury vehicle like a BMW. It's a great classified network with some pretty cool cars! Try to find one in their quick search on the home page.

  7. 1995-1998 BMW 325i, 1995-1998 Nissan 240sx, any Mazda Miata, you can buy an American car to help out Americas economy, just don't get a Jeep or you will be replacing parts very soon. Jeeps suck in terms of durability. Ford and Dodge are ok. Most of GMs cars are getting kinda junky though.
