  1. If you want to really get into it you need to do it all.  Shadowboxing is good for your speed and weights for your power.  Remember a lot of your power comes from your lower body so work on that too.  Good luck!

  2. Plyometrics twice a week would be good for speed. Weights twice a week are also good. Shoot for an 8 rep range. If you can do more than go up in weight. Bench Press and flat fies for chest, bent over row and upright row for back, lateral raises and shoulder press for shoulders. Curls and kick backs for biceps and triceps. Legs are optional because if your are running you should be good to go.

When shadowboxing with weights I recommend using 3-5 lb weights not more than that.

  3. being so young you should pack on size with ease, be careful not to over train though as your still going to be growing naturaly so your strength should get better with each passing day even with no training at all!

  4. power does not come from weights it comes from hitting the heavy bag... if you want speed work a light heavy bag and if you want power hit a real heavy bag im thinking  for power maybe a 150 pound to a 210 pound bag if you can find one they should have them at the gym.. and under weight for speed..

weights may play a factor in it but its more of a force power then it is an impact power...

  5. For speed I do varies leg exercises not involving weights but pyrotechnics like box jumping, and burpies work for speed. My arms for speed I do a lot of shadow boxing. Power I involve weights in my workouts with my legs and arms. They have weighed glove wraps I use for speed and power and I do mixed strength exercises with my legs like presses and curls.

  6. you shouldn't be weight lifting at your age at all. do exercises such as pull-ups, push-ups, sit-ups, squat-thrusts, air squats, wall ball shots (throw a medicine ball against a wall and squat), knees to elbows (hang from pull-up bar and bring knees to the elbows), air lunges, jump-rope, box jumps, back extensions, running, swimming. makes a circuit out of 3-5 of those and then do a set number of rounds of that.

  7. 10lbs itll make you faster
