  1. When you turn in the cards for more armies, you can add 2 extra armies to the territory on 1 of the cards, if you control that territory.

  2. In the classic game, when you trade in a set of cards, if you own at least one of the territories pictured on those cards, you receive two additional armies that you may deploy in one of said territories.

There are other ways to play, including starting the game by random deal, where the deck is dealt out completely (minus the wild cards) and each player starts with one army in each territory he's dealt and reinforces from that point.  There is also a "Capital" version, where each player chooses a Capital territory and takes the card matching his Capital.  You win this one by capturing the opponents' Capitals.

I'm sure there are other uses for these cards as well, limited only by players' imaginations...

  3. If you like Risk, try Campaign and Diplomacy.

In answer to your question, you can find the rules of Risk on the internet.

Weren't the rules given out with the game?!

  4. Sometimes you divide up the territory cards between the players at the start of each game. If you got that territory card, then you own a territory and can place armies on it.

  5. Risk is a game of how smart you are and different strategies. You set up your players on your countires and roll a dice against your oppent. Who ever gets the highest number, wins the land u battled for
