  1. DAN QUITE!!!!!!!!!

  2. Well your mom's only trying to help you, because a sport like that helps alot when applying for college and getting scholarship. I'm sure you're really good too. So keep going. You won't regret it when you look back when you are really successful in your 20s.

  3. I would try softball, it would be 2-3 days a week probably, I play baseball and it isn't that time consuming.

  4. how about soccer

  5. how about volleyball

  6. how old are you now?

  7. Just tell her that you cant' take the stress it takes to swim. Swimming requires a lot of dedication and sacrifice, if you aren't willing to give up a lot of free time for it, its definantly not for you.

  8. Just quit.

There is no way your mom can put your swimsuit on and throw you in the water.

I know it is hard to disrespect your mom but you got to convince her it is not what you want.

She will not stay mad at you forever.

If there is no possible way you can get out of it explain to your friends what is going on and do whatever you can to hang out with them.

I would just tell my coach I quit and deal with the consquences.

  9. marathon

  10. just quit

tell her its to much stress and that you have to have time by yourself and to be a teenager

  11. you should probably keep doing swimming but just not as often as you do now try to take up something like tennis or squash, they're great ways to keep fit and have fun. and if you quit you may regret it in later life so just think about it.

    hope this helps

  12. Go ahead and quit so you can spend more time hanging out with your friends. That will make it easier to start ditching school with them when class gets boring. If you're not swimming, then there's no problem if you start smoking. And if school starts stressing you out, you can quit that, too. That way you'll be able to live your life the way you want to.

    p.s. Whining is never attractive.

  13. talk to your mother about why she feels its so important.

if its a health reason discuss other sports or lightening the level by training but not competing.

if its because she wants you to compete talk to your coach about him discussing your competition schedule.

if you thinks its adversely impacting your health see your doctor and get his advice about taking a break, it may be your mum needs to hear it from him to acknowledge you need a break at least.

  14. try another sport... or just tell her ur done and dont enjoy it anymore

  15. tell her you don't want to do it anymore.

if she won't let you quit complain and go super slow in races!

  16. Tell your mom that you need the time away from swimming to study your spelling and grammar.
