I wanna request a song on the radio but nobody's answering? why?

is this just because their not taking requests at the time or what?

i called 2 stations.

red 102.3 & great country 107.7

but none of them answered.

why?

can i call anytime or not?

yeah you can call whenever. sometimes it doesn't work cuz people are busy and sometimes other people are calling in. i'd keep trying.

It could all be automated. Some stations don't have DJs running the opperation any more, just computers that play the predetermined playlist. Also, they might not be taking requests at that time (or at all for that matter).

What you're listening to was recorded, probably voicetracked earlier today to sound live tonight. Very few evening radio programs are live.
