  1. the 400 by far.  i bet you could even move up to the 800 as well.

  2. if u wanna run track in igh school, u have to be really good, so u have to have ur 100 to be 9-10, 200 in 20 seconds, the rest is good

  3. umm well I'll give you the stats of a senior who can pretty much get into any track orientated college

    100m-10.6

    200m-21.5

    400m-47.5

no highjump or long jump but people at my school have jumped 22's and 23 so by your senior year you should get recruited but think about it there are probably tons of people who can run that right now so you might not get recruited because your times arent extraordinary but you just have to show coaches that your a hard worker and you have potentional don't be scared to go out and meet coaches ...get your name out there.

  4. if i were you i would give up high and long jump no offense but your a much better sprinter than jumper and i would stick with the 200 and 400. also dont worry about recruiting letters yet u usually dont start getting those till junior year/maybe sophmore year. keep working hard who knows you might get a scholarship somewere you will obviously have to keep improving thou.

  5. You can't be recruited for another few years, so I wouldn't worry about not having received any letters at this point.  It would break NCAA protocol for them to send them.

Focus on getting to the state meet over the next few years and, when you are a junior, contacting a few of the programs you would like to run for and seeing what their teams are like and what times their athletes are running.

There is no way to know where you will be in two-three years at this time, but your 400 meter time looks good, and your jumps could very well be worth working on as well.  Do plyometrics and see what that does.

    Good luck, have fun!

  6. of course you haven't gotten recruiting letters, you are only a freshman, colleges don't start recruiting until your junior year at the earliest unless you are a phenom. your 100 time is average, but your 200 and 400 times are really good for being a freshman. give up the jumping, my school has a freshman high jumper who hit 6'5" and he's white.

basically don't worry about college right now, you have three more years ahead of you for high school, just keep working hard and improving and it will come to you
