I wanna start surfing how to i get started?

longboard. take lessons somewhere and ask for a longboard. i would reccomend like a 9 or a 10 depending on how tall you are. the smaller the board, the harder it is to surf on it and it wouldnt be cool of you got a small board and couldnt surf on it and hated it and never surfed again.

Go on the nssia.org web site and find an instructor or school in your area.  Let the instructor fit you with a board.  Cost will be well worth it.

Buy a small surfboard and start with small waves. I started in that way and thank god I did before spending $500 on a real surfboard. Infact surfing in freaking hard!!!!

first of all i wouldn't get a good board until u know what ur doing

so i'd  practice ballancing first so that when u do cathc some waves u know what ur doing..and also  practice getting of on something.. like laying down on the grass and practice coming up
