We live in hawaii and im from the Northern Midwest. I just cant think of any where that has a good snow fall at the end of august or begining of september. Ive been looking at resorts in the mountains like in montana but they dont say if the snow is falling that early in the year. Can any one help?

  1. the north pole.

  2. Well, I hate to say it, but I don't think there are any places that snow that early except alaska... Try looking towards Wisconsin...maybe that will give you results. Good luck.

  3. A year around ski resort would be your best bet i don't know what your price range is but there are some great ones in South America. there is suppose to have some fresh snow in august and september in Argentina and Chile i would just type in Year round ski resorts into Yahoo. I'm guessing since you live in hawaii that you don't ski or snowboard but you could just do some tubing and sledding or maybe some snowshoeing. It might be expensive but i think its the only way to go if you want to see snow in september or august

  4. Alaska.

  5. Maybe australia?

"Like all countries in the southern hemisphere (the hemisphere south of the Equator), Australia's seasons follow the sequence:

    Summer: December to February

    Autumn: March to May

    Winter: June to August

    Spring: September to November "
