i'm looking to get colored contacts just for the look of them, have never worn glasses or contacts. do i need to see somebody to get sized for them/order them? who should i see? about what is the cost both for the consult and the contacts? how long do they last for? any specific brands for colored contacts?

You need to get your eyes checked and fitted for contact lenses. The exam and fitting will run between $75-$150 depending on where you go.
