  1. better join a gang, you have more chances of survival

  2. No.  The first thing you need to do is get your HIGH SCHOOL diploma, and learn how to spell.

  3. The Few, the Proud, the Marines

  4. You need a high school diploma, or the equivalent.  Judging by your command of written English, studying and graduating would be a real good thing.

  5. No, you can't join the Marines at such a young age.  Why are you in such a hurry to put yourself in harm's way?  There are other ways of serving your country until you're old enough to put on a uniform.  I spent 12 years in the service and believe me, it's not as hardcore and cool as tv makes it look.  Do some homework before you go running to a recruiter.  Talk to people who have been there and see what they have to say.  Go to a VA hospital and ask them if they think you should join.  Don't get caught up in some patriotic pep talk you hear from politicians.  I can guarantee you that they won't be serving, nor with their sons or daughters.

Educate yourself.  Before you go off to learn how to use all the cool, state of the art weapons that the military has to offer, you need to learn how to use the most powerful weapon of all:  your mind.  Don't be in such a hurry to go get yourself killed.  Your parents would be very angry at you if you did.

  6. No they will not.  When you are 17 you may be able to join if you have your parents consent.  However, you must also be a high school graduate, pass a rigid physical exam and also the AFES (Armed Forces entrance exam).  I would guess that this may be difficult for you because of your spelling and grammar.

But as a retired vet who has seen a lot of action with the Marines I can tell you this.  They are a great outfit, but forget about all the glory and heroics because once you are in there you are going to find out it is a life of doing what you are told, when you are told, and doing it exactly in the way it was ordered.  Marine Corps schools are focused on training you for a specific job within the Corps.  But unlike the training in the Navy and Air Force, most of this training cannot be carried over into a civilian career.

  7. No you have to be 17 with parent consent or 18 to sign on your own. Get your High School Diploma, do not drop out and get your GED because that will make the whole process a lot longer because they will make you get college credits before they will let you join.

  8. You have to be 17 and have a parent sign for you. Otherwise 18. Also have a high school diploma

  9. not if you keep spelling it wrong.....and using '2' instead of 'to', you will have to keep yourself 'high & tight'...start by using better self-disipline with your spelling grammar and usage.

you must be 17 with parental permission or 18 without.

My advice - stay in school, you appear to really need an education.

  10. No, you can join at 17 with a parental signature and do the DEP, or Delayed Entry Program. However, you should still talk to a recruiter about it.  You also have to have your high school diploma, or a GED.

  11. U NEED A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA SILLY, OVBIOUSLY YOUR NOT READY FOR THAT IF U DIN'T KNOW THAT, BUT THE MARINES R THE BEST, JOIN WHEN YOUR READY

  12. You must be 17 with permission or 18 on your own..
