im a freshmen in highschool and i really want to be a cheerleader. One of my best friends is on the varsity squad of the jersey devils and shes a base. and she tells me that if i start taking lessons now i could diffenatly be a flyer because im 5'7 and 100 pounds, but the thing is i could only do a toe touch, a high kick, and a tuck jump. but i cant do most of the things like tumbling and i dont have any of my splits down. can i still be a cheerleader if i start taking lessons...and if you guys now any good cheerleading gyms near or in marlboro new jersey please let me know thanks.
