  1. Connect it With Very High Quality Wires and some Good Eq Should do the Trick = )

  2. Sorry, there really is no good way to do this.  Even a "long throw" 12 in sub will not sound as good as two 15's all else being equal.

It is just basic laws of physics...the bigger the speakers the more the bass.

  3. Kicker L7/L5

  4. There's not a real good way to make ONE 12" sub to necessarily sound better than a pair of 15's.  Unless the 15's are fleamarket c**p subwoofers, or they are broken, or mounted in a box that wasn't meant to house those specific 15's....(inadequate enclosures)...And not powered properly.  There's not a real good way to make a 12" sound better if everything was running properly with the 15's.

Now if you want some decent12" subs, I would suggest looking at Fi Car Audio, the BTL series is wicked!  Especially for the price.

Re Audio x*x and MT series subwoofers are boomin bass...but a bit expensive.

DD Audio (digital designs) 9500 series subs are booming as well.

These are some Subwoofers that are HARD to beat.

But not against two 15's...Again, unless the 15's are not very good....low end subwoofers....like walmart subs, or low end subs from various manufacturers...there's no real good way to hit Louder.

Now to get better Clarity bass?  that may be a possibility...but not louder.  Deeper (lower...not louder)?  Maybe depending on the woofers you want to beat.

PS. The W7 is a decent woofer, but no where near the Fi BTL, x*x, or DD 9512.  The Fi Is cheaper than the w7.

I own both the w7, and the Fi BTl....as well as the x*x.

All great subs, but the w7 does not compare to these three that I posted.

PSS.  The Asker says one 12...what one 12 will beat two 15's...So those of you saying use a 15 or 18 or 13 etc....please stay on track...otherwise anyone could say use whatever sub or two subs or 5 bazillion subs or use that 22 inch sub....

  5. GO N CHECK THA KICKER SOLOX SUB..IT IS BAD

  6. Get a JL Audio W713"

either that or a 18 Inch Fi BTL

power the JL with a Jl 1000/1

power the Fi with a 2000RMS rockford amp and ti will hit about 160db no problem

  7. Get a T3 audio subwoofer with a crazy amplifier, it RMS at 4000w and peaks at 10000w. The amp you will need though is going to cost around a grand or higher though. Maybe go smaller and get a Fi BTL subwoofer, But get a 15" one and it will sound almost like 2 of them.

  8. But I highly recommend a JLW7. One 12" pushes out 750W RMS. Top of the line equipment, but a bit pricey.

  9. Kicker solo x 12 it has 2500rms power and is square so has more surface area than round 12s. You'll also need a big amp and plenty of airspace.
