I want a 2004 bmw x5 but my brother and friends say its girly/soccer mom car. what do you think?

Well I always wanted a BMW since I'm little. I like suv's, they are what i learned on. My dad agreed to get me a BMW X5 but he wants me to get a 3.0i because I'm known for a lead foot. I think I can talk him into getting me a 4.4i. My brother and girlfriend think the X5 is girly. I would probably get the truck in Silver, Toledo Blue, or the Slate color. Does anyone else think that the X5 is meant for girls?

any other cars you reccomend? I'm 17

well i think the x5 is a great car and it is definitely not a girls car. its great looking and it handles brilliantly. the 4.4i has bad fuel economy and to be honest  the 3.0i is enough.

you could actually look out for a used land rover discovery (lr3). that's a good car too.

The X5 is great and is a good choice

You could also get a porsche cayenne mercedes gl35 or an acura mdx

lol well look at gas... sooo look at its mileage etc. and man if they dont trust u get a lil junker that runs :O and than impress them all ;)

Don't get something so old. Get something new that you can afford. And the 4.4i is still slower than my mom's E550 4matic (and her old C320 4matic!). How does that make you feel? The 7.2 seconds from 0-60 is nothing impressive. The interior is also hideous (typical BMW).

Drive it and you won't want one. They're sluggish and even the jacked up engine doesn't accelerate quickly. Sad.
