  1. if you try to make it fit and use shorter cues it should fit.


  2. The minimum space for a table is the playing area plus the length of a cue (58") plus about 6 inches for the back swing on each side.

    A seven foot pool table should fit fine in a 10'x18' room.

No, I don't think it will fit.  A 7' table is still 4' wide, you need at least 4' around the table, and 6' on the break side.  At least a room of 16'x12'.  The 18' side of your room will be fine but the sides of your room will be terrible even with short cues.  On an aside note 7' tables aren't that nice.  You would be much happier with an 8' table, but since you don't have the room I think I would pass for now.  How about considering a nice poker table and a wet bar?
