Question:

I want a GOOD Harley Quinn costume for Halloween!!

I really want to be Harley Quinn for Halloween. I want to look s**y but conservative, you know? I really like this costume:

However, all I can find is this:

The mask is ugly, the head piece's tassles are too droopy and it has that ugly widow's peak thing, and the boots are too frumpy. The costume itself looks more like pajamas than a s**y costume for a female with curves! The costume itself might work, after all it might just be the model ruining it and not the fabric. However, the head, feet and mask still need work.

If anyone can find a costume like the one I linked, please let me know! If you can make one, throw it up on ebay. I don't want to pay more than 65 for it, though. I am 5'2", 130lbs, pants size 7 if that tells anyone who may potentially make the costume anything. I'm petite, but not anorexic.

Any help is much appreciated! Please don't link the costume to me that I already said I don't want. If that's my only option, I'll just find something else to go as! xD

  1. there's a pretty good one that i found on google, but it's a pattern, so you'd have to sew it, or get someone to sew for you. you'll want someone really experienced because it involves sewing with spandex, which is a difficult material. but the pattern is right in the height/weight range you gave. you should check it out. http://www.geocities.com/hrmessinger/ind...

i've been encountering the same crappy costumes you have, i want to be Harley next year and am thinking i'm just going to have to have something custom made.

  2. Dear Harley-fan,

You may need to adjust your expectations if you want a good Harley costume. The reason the cheap crappy ones are $65 is because they are cheap nasty fabric, made by cheap labor in Third world countries.

The fabric alone will cost you $65 in the average fabric store in the USA. If you can sew (or beg someone to sew for you), there is a pattern available at hollymessinger.etsy.com.

Sorry I can't meet your price, but I do custom-make these and I have a pretty good idea of what the competition sells for. I've never seen one for less than $200.

    Good luck,

    Holly
