I want a Photo resize application for mac.?

Question

I want to move pics from laptop to my cell phone (SE K770i). However when I move large pics, taken by 7MP camera they seem blurry. I think I need an application to resize pics, can you suggest one?

P.S. I have a Mac computer.

iPhoto does this if you have iLife.  If not, Preview also does this (go to the tools menu and select adjust size)
