  1. I recomend you try an olive python, they are very friendly, love to be handles and can grow to 8ftplus.

  2. i was actually thinking carpet python too. they are much more active than balls, but super cool too. i really liked the carpet we had at the pet store, she was just the sweetest most curious thing!

  3. Depends how much you feel like spending. If you want to go all out, go for a dwarf burmese. Super dwarf retics. are okay, but much more active & attentive from my experience than the burms. If you don't have that much, carpets are good, spotted or children's pythons, & blood pythons (though the bloods get extremely hefty!).

  4. A jungle carpet python would be a great choice. They normally grow to about 6 or 7 feet and are beautiful snakes, yellow and black. Babies can be pretty nippy, but easily tame down. My adults are extremely tame. JCP's were the first snake I ever bred. Just ask to see what the parents looked like. JCP's start out ugly as babies, brown and black, and get brighter as they grow, usually peaking at around 2 years of age.

  5. Well it depends if you're looking for length like a ball python is about 4-5' and you're looking for around 7' then a carpet python is a good choice, I've had one and it was friendly and grew to about 3 feet before i sold it to get an albino ball python. But if you're looking for fatness which a ball python would be fatter than a carpet, then a ball python is your best choice. I would stay away from bumese and reticulated pythons unless you have room for a 12'+ snake and the food for it. Let me know if you have any other questions about the snake u decide to get.
